RELOCATION COUNSELING

Our experienced relocation managers will be assigned to work with the relocating employees. The managers' goal is to have a process of communication for the employees during their entire relocation.

DESTINATION SERVICES

Our Home Sale Program offers our Relocation Team who concentrate on the Pre-Marketing Process. That means concentrates on advising the employee of tips for reaching the highest price for their home, whether it be in improvements or marketing.

  2. • Relocation Manager will contact the relocation associate giving details and instructions from the corporation
  3. • Relocation Associate will contact the employee and set up appointment convenient for the employee

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Heritage Texas Properties has a special department that works with our Relocation Team assuring you have the professional team and process at work for the employee. This team only handles property management for the firm. The Relocation Manager will assist in setting up the process.


ON SITE VISITS

Many times employers will request Heritage Texas Properties make an On Site Presentation. This is to assist their employees while they can continue to complete their specific projects. We assist with:

  2. • Relocation and Purchasing and/or rental assistance information
  3. • Cds with homes in the Greater Houston Area
  4. • One-on-one counseling at the site
  5. • Offering contacts for mortgage assistance and qualification

RENTAL ASSISTANCE

If the employee chooses to rent rather than buy at this time, we can assist either with apartments or homes to rent. Renting is a complicated process and finding the right rental property and understanding the terms is an important decision. In a city as large as Houston, availability may be limited and our department can put you in touch with the right people to assist the employee.


MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE

Heritage Texas Properties does own a mortgage company and we offer assistance for the employee if they so desire. We also have many other mortgage brokers we work with on a regular basis. We offer, whenever requested by the employee, names and telephone numbers and leave the decision to the employee regarding the best program for he and/or his family.

Our relocation associates can make your move as stress-free as possible. Whether you are looking to buy, sell or rent, we can help!

Ooma came to the U.S. from Madras, India after completing her Master's in Clothing and Textiles from the University of Madras. She worked for a leading clothing manufacturer in Kansas City, Kansas and moved to Houston about 25 years ago. Practicing real estate since 1982, Ooma has been a consistent Top Producer and involved in all facets of relocation, both domestic and international, for over 15 years. She is a good Counselor, having very good listening skills and communication skills. Patient, persistent and professional in all aspects of her dealings with customers and clients, Ooma is also multilingual, and has served on many panels and made many cultural presentations at schools throughout Houston.

Norma Chaney is a prominent and very dedicated figure in the real estate community. She began her real estate career in 1978 and became a Certified Relocation Professional in 1983.

Actively involved with the Houston Association of Realtors® (HAR), she has been Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee and of the Area Breakfast Committee, Presiding Officer of the Ethics & Arbitration Panel.

Norma also works with the Relocation Directors Council, the Texas Relocation Network, the Houston Relocation Professionals and has served as board member for various builder and developer advisory groups throughout Houston. Norma is actively involved with the annual ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run which sponsors scholarships for local college-bound students.
